Schedule Curbside Chipping services

NLTFPD provides Curbside Chipping services, with crews typically available to  complete requests within one week (due to firefighting assignments and variable crew sizes, please allow up to three weeks). This service is available Spring through Fall.

A shared history

North Lake Tahoe Fire District was formed by an act of the Washoe County Commissioners.  Originally protecting the Crystal Bay and lakeshore areas only, the first NLTFPD fire station was in Crystal Bay.
